Are you an author who is getting ready for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) this November?
Whitelam Books is excited to offer space and support for experienced and aspiring writers who are participating in NaNoWriMo, starting with an introductory Session Thursday Oct 20 at 7PM at Whitelam Books.
Local author Laura Hatosy will share how she used NaNoWriMo to write the bulk of her first novel, "Drawn from Memory." She'll share tips and tricks for how to tackle the global NaNoWriMo challenge of writing 50,000 works of your novel during the month of November.
Join us on Oct. 20 at 7PM to learn more. RSVP requested on FB event page or at email@example.com.
Additionally, Whitelam Books will be offering support and encouragement through the month of November for any local writers who step up to the NaNoWriMo challenge. This support will include dedicated quiet time in the bookstore to write (dates below), social events to connect with other writers, and an open mic night to share your work at the end of the month!
All of these are truly optional; please attend what you can or would like to! We'll wrap up with a special event to celebrate your achievement on Tuesday, November 29th.
